Which books do I plan on reading this fall? I’ve actually received quite a few review copies in the last couple of weeks that pushed some of my other TBR books farther down the line… So here is what my Fall TBR list currently looks like:
1. The Strange Case of Gwendolyn Golden by Philippa Dowding (Dundurn Press) – Release date: January 2014
2. The Rule of Thirds by Chantel Guertin (ECW Press) – Release date: October 2013
3. The Dead Kid Detective Agency #2: Dial M for Morna by Evan Munday (ECW Press) – Release date: October 2013
4. His Dark Assassin: Dark Triumph by Robin Lafevers
5. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (St. Martin’s Griffin)
6. Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card – Rereading in time for the movie release!
7. Seraphina by Rachel Hartman (Random House)
8. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Penguin) –
9. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (Scholastic) – Another reread for the movie release! Also, I’m loving this paperback cover! Anyone else?
10. Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell (Houghton Mifflin) – This one was lent to me by the bestie after being shocked that have I never read it before.

So many lovelies! Island of the Blue Dolphin was my favorite as a kid. Anna and the French Kiss is lots of fun. I thought Catching Fire was the best in the series. I really need to start Grave Mercy-I keep hearing how awesome it is! Enjoy your reading!

Oh lots of good books! Seraphina, Anna, Catching Fire and Blue Dolphins are all great and I hope you like them! Island of the Blue Dolphins is one of the few childhood favorites I’ve kept into adulthood. We moved a lot so most of my kid books were given away, but that one, I still have.
That is one of the best indicators of a great book–the ones you hold on to no matter what. Can’t wait to check it out. 🙂 Thanks for commenting!
While I am ecstatic that you are going to read Island of the Blue Dolphins soon, I did notice that A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is not on your list!!! You need to read that too! 🙂
