A Round-Up Of Fun Tid-Bits and Bookish News

The book that scored an instant place on my most-anticipated-book list? The latest project from Melanie J. Fishbane that sees my favourite Canadian author, L.M. Montgomery, fictionalized in a YA novel about her teen years. Come on, 2015!

My favourite mythology-loving author, Rick Riordan, interviews Jonathan Stroud (another favourite of mine) about his writing process.

Polly Horvath won the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award for One Year in Cole Harbour (Groundwood Books). I need to get my hands on a copy; it’s been cleaning up with the awards this year. Congrats, Holly!

Inaccurate Realities first issue, FEAR, released this week! Plus, they are giving away a copy of Antigoddess by Kendare Blake to one lucky reader!

Over at FlavorWire, they’ve ranked 20 classic YA Heroines…to much contention. But an interesting read none-the-less. Read and discuss.
